Sunset Over Ventura Beach

When I look at this image, I can almost hear the sound of the ocean tide. No other sounds, just the calm before the night. When I was a kid, I was told that if I listen close enough that I might be able to hear the sun sizzle as it disappears over the horizon. I still think it is true, although I have never heard it myself.
