I'll try to mix it up, there are lots of different types of photography.
Much of what I photograph is in the landscape category. My passion regarding nature started as a boy. The Cascade mountains of Washington were where my father introduced me to hiking and fishing. Watching a bald eagle use its strong talons to pluck a large trout out of the water was the kind of experience that had to be part of my future.

Last Year's Orchid - This Years Flowers
Last year my oldest daughter gave me this orchid for my birthday. It's blooming again. When you have to care for a house plant for a year the value of that plant goes up, sweat equity. And when it flowers again. How sweet it is.
