I'll try to mix it up, there are lots of different types of photography.
Much of what I photograph is in the landscape category. My passion regarding nature started as a boy. The Cascade mountains of Washington were where my father introduced me to hiking and fishing. Watching a bald eagle use its strong talons to pluck a large trout out of the water was the kind of experience that had to be part of my future.

What was it? I don't know.
Sometimes you find unusual "things" as you wander up a new beach. I have no idea what this structure used to be. Maybe a sailing ship hull. The large spikes that were used in its construction leads me to believe . . . I just don't know.
Your picture is just gorgeous. I felt like we'd come upon a ship wreck. Such a strange feeling to see something at the end stages of decay.
