Almost a Missed Opportunity

Last Sunday, I was on a trail in the woods near Shelton, Washington. I came upon this small wildflower. As I was setting up my tripod and getting ready to capture a digital image of this flower, a mountain biker came around the corner. Seeing me in the middle of the trail, he tried to stop. I was sure he would crash into the flower but he regained his balance and my photo shoot was spared.
