I'll try to mix it up, there are lots of different types of photography.
Much of what I photograph is in the landscape category. My passion regarding nature started as a boy. The Cascade mountains of Washington were where my father introduced me to hiking and fishing. Watching a bald eagle use its strong talons to pluck a large trout out of the water was the kind of experience that had to be part of my future.

The Trick Is . . .
Since it never seems that there is a long enough telephoto lens for bird photography, the trick is to find a way to get closer to your subject. I was located behind a low branch. This Jay didn't see me. Click.
