A very popular mountain lake is Tipsoo Lake. This is not Lake Tipsoo and is seen by fewer visitors. I only mention this fact because I too visited Lake Tipsoo many times before I looked across the road and over a ridge. This is now one of my favorite mountain lakes. Very relaxing.
