I'll try to mix it up, there are lots of different types of photography.
Much of what I photograph is in the landscape category. My passion regarding nature started as a boy. The Cascade mountains of Washington were where my father introduced me to hiking and fishing. Watching a bald eagle use its strong talons to pluck a large trout out of the water was the kind of experience that had to be part of my future.

Ohanapecosh Inhabitant
High in the pine trees of the Ohanapecosh region of Mt. Rainier, the demure Pine White Butterfly lives, breeds and is gone. I visited this region for the waterfalls, but was treated by hundreds of these butterflies.
